The start order selection for the first running of Rally Rzeszow as an FIA European Rally Championship event has taken place, with Dávid Botka choosing first on the road for Friday’s stages.

The reigning champion and home hero Kajetan Kajetanowicz got first pick after setting the best time in the Qualifying Stage, and he chose to go fifth on the road for Friday’s stages.

Łukasz Habaj and Bryan Bouffier, the next quickest drivers behind Kajetanowicz in the Qualifying Stage, decided it would be best to run in front of the LOTOS Rally Team man, and picked fourth and third respectively.

Filip Nivette, Jakub Brzeziński and Raul Jeets selected seventh, sixth and eighth in turn, before Grzegorz Grzyb – a two-time Rally Rzeszow winner – went for second. Following him, last year’s ERC2 champion Botka opted for first place. The remaining four-wheel drive ERC-registered cars filled the final places in the top 14.

The leading cars have now taken the ceremonial start and will take the start of SS1, the street stage in the centre of Rzeszow, in reverse entry list order, as shown here on the start list for leg 1 section 1.
